Dear Friends,
My fear of snakes is now healthy. I have just been to the Kisumu Museum and seen the live snakes. I fear the Gabon Viper & the Black Mamba. The Gabon Viper has 2 inch long fangs and when it bites it hangs on and doesn't let go. It is vicious and deadly as is the Black Mamba & many others.
Also saw two examples of the Nile Crocodile. I think I could handle the Nile Croc with a bit of advance warning and my knife, but not the Gabon Viper.
We also saw fishes of Lake Victoria.
