Dear Friends,
I have reached the town of Niavasha in search of Lord Delamere. But I dont think he is here. I must move north now to Soysambu Ranch to test my luck. Another warm day.
I dont think the Sgt Major was kidding me re. the Camel Spider.

Andy,
ReplyDeleteHope things are going well.Niavasha is noted for growing roses for the European market, unfortunately to the detriment of local agriculture.Incidentally, the water test when crossing the Equator is a scam-don't waste your money next time!
Dear John,
DeleteI saw the water test in front of my own eyes. We went on the dead Equator and the water did not turn. 20 mts either side the effect was clear to see with a piece of straw placed in the water as it drain. I am convinced by the Equator effect.

I hope that you don't see a camel spider - it doesn't sound like it would be a very pleasant encounter! Wikipedia tells me however that the danger to humans is exaggerated. I think you should be more worried about George Osborne! If he's reading this blog you really are in trouble!

Dear Alan,
ReplyDeleteI have nothing to fear from the likes of George Osbourne. I owe him one, a boot up the backside.
