Randy Castle is a cycle tourist from Minnesota, USA. I met him on the Trans-Iberian trip in April 2008 when he joined the expedition just south of Madrid. The most unusual feature of his touring is the rig that he uses. It is a folding 'Bike Friday' with a yellow suitcase trailer by 'Samsonite'.I met Randy again in 2009 when we teamed up at Reims in France to cycle through Belgium and Holland to reach Amsterdam. Another fine trip.
Randy is a veteran of a number of 'Great Rides Across Iowa' in which 10,000 cyclists ride 500 miles across the State in a week.
Maybe I will get to tour with him again in the future. Will see.
