I discovered that Dr Birgitta Hoffman will be lecturing at the local Sir John Dean's College on October 16th. I have met Dr Hoffman previously in July 2006 when I went as a volunteer digger on the 'Roman Gask Project', near Stirling in Scotland. I remember her bending my ear for being noisy in the mess tent when I was getting an early morning breakfast. I will attend the lecture. Friday, 6 August 2010
