SOUTH DOWNS WAY walking holiday - Aug 1986
The South Downs Way is one of two national long distance footpaths I have completed. Thanks goes to travelling companion, Robert Booth, who led the way. We travelled down to the start at Eastbourne by bus and train.
The pier at Eastbourne.
The seven sisters cliffs, beyond Eastbourne.
The South Downs
is a truely beautful area of the country.
I think this Youth Hostel is either Telscombe or Alfriston, I cant recall which.
Truleigh Hill YH
The Roman baths in the town of Bath.
We stayed at the YMCA in Bath because the Youth Hostel was full. Rob Booth headed for home after Bath while travelled up to North Wales by train for a mooch about.
